As Product Manager, you will act as the bridge between business, technology, and end users, ensuring that customer needs, data quality, regulatory considerations, and product scalability are reflected in a clear product vision and an actionable backlog.
- Product Vision & Strategy
- Define and communicate a clear product vision and roadmap aligned with business goals and customer needs.
- Translate strategic objectives into well‑prioritized epics, features, and user stories.
- Continuously evaluate market trends in financial analytics, data platforms, and regulatory requirements (e.g. accounting standards, reporting frameworks).
- Backlog Ownership & Agile Delivery
- Own and manage the product backlog, ensuring items are clearly defined, prioritized, and ready for development.
- Collaborate closely with agile development teams during sprint planning, execution, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Make trade‑off decisions based on value, user impact, data quality, risk, and time‑to‑market.
- Stakeholder & Customer Management
- Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders regarding product functionality and priorities.
- Gather input from an international user base, balancing regional requirements with standardization of the core product.
- Work with sales, support, and customer success teams to incorporate customer feedback and usage insights.
- Data & Quality Focus
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability across all product components.
- Define acceptance criteria with a strong focus on data validation, analytics correctness, and performance.
- Collaborate with data engineers and analysts on data models, calculations, and reporting logic.
- Compliance & Governance Awareness
- Ensure product features align with relevant financial, data protection, and regulatory requirements (e.g. GDPR, auditability, data lineage).
- Support audit readiness through clear documentation and traceability of product decisions and data logic
