At BDO, you’re not just a number; your wellbeing and professional development matter to us as much as the personalized, hands-on advice and pragmatic solutions we provide to our clients. Because as you grow, so do we and so do our clients. That’s why our motto is “Let’s Grow Together!”

What will you be doing?

As a Sales & Events Coordinator at BDO, you will be key to the successful delivery of local projects and events. You’ll ensure that processes and procedures are followed accurately, manage event budgets with a strong sense of fiscal responsibility, and improve data quality for insightful reporting. From the initial planning stages to follow-up, you will organize and oversee events that create exceptional experiences for our clients and stakeholders.

Key Competencies:

  • Ensure the correct application of processes and procedures.
  • Manage local projects, ensuring sound project management that meets all deadlines and delivers high-quality work.
  • Coordinate the flow of information between Marketing, Communications, Academy, Business, and third parties.
  • Review checklists and plan actionable tasks for timely execution.
  • Oversee event organization from A-Z and serve as a host for events within your cluster, providing backup for other events as needed.
  • Monitor event budgets, maintaining an overall view to ensure costs remain within budget.
  • Conduct post-event follow-ups, including processing evaluation forms and leads, and report back to the relevant Business Developer/director.
  • Verify invoices for accuracy, add budget codes, and submit them to Finance.
  • Improve CRM data quality by taking appropriate actions (e.g., processing bounces, updating and supplementing data based on received communications).
  • Conduct layout and textual checks for presentations, invitations, and other materials.
  • Provide general local sales support, including registration for external networking events.
  • Prepare for various meetings and follow up on action items.
  • Initiate, develop, and animate cross-selling initiatives in collaboration with local sales.

What do you bring to the table?

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience, preferably with initial experience in event management.
  • A background in a consulting environment is preferred.
  • Proficient in Dutch, English, and French.
  • Detail-oriented and methodical, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Flexible regarding tasks, working hours, and travel.
  • Proactive and hands-on.

What do we bring to the table?

  • Culture: you will join a family of experts who encourage respect, diversity and teamwork. You work in an open culture, so feel free to speak to anyone, at any level
  • Development: you decide the direction of your career, and we support you where necessary. Our BDO Academy provides a whole range of training courses to help.
  • Impact: from day 1 you will be given responsibility, with support from your team.
