What will you be doing?

  • Market Research : Conduct research to identify trends, acquisition targets, and partnership opportunities. Analyse competitor data and market conditions impacting transactions.
  • Financial Analysis and valuation : Build financial models to evaluate performance and prospects of acquisition targets. Apply valuation methods such as DCF, Comparable Company Analysis, and Precedent Transactions.
  • Document preparation : Contribute to pitch books, Information Memorandums, and client presentations. Assist in drafting and reviewing key transaction documents (LOIs, term sheets, purchase agreements).
  • Project management : Support due diligence by preparing datarooms. Coordinate meetings, manage timelines, and ensure smooth stakeholder alignment. Maintain documentation and update internal databases with deal details.
  • Communication and collaboration : Liaise with clients, consultants, and external stakeholders for data gathering and information flow. Work closely with colleagues across practices to ensure integrated solutions.
  • M&A activity monitoring : Prepare regular reports on ongoing M&A activity and closed deals. Analyse post-transaction outcomes to assess success and extract lessons for future projects.

What do you bring to the table?

  • Master’s degree in Finance, Business Economics, or a related field; finance certifications (CFI, CFA, etc.) are a plus.
  • Up to 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in consulting or professional services.
  • Excellent command of French and English; knowledge of Dutch and/or German is a strong asset.
  • Strong foundations in accounting, valuation methodologies, and M&A processes.
  • Advanced Excel skills with expertise in corporate finance applications.
  • Proficient in PowerPoint for creating impactful reports
  • A proactive, team-oriented mindset with a can-do attitude and eagerness to learn.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and perform effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
