Join the BDO family, a worldwide consulting firm where you can bring your own personality to your job! We help organisations grow sustainably with our expertise in audit & assurance, tax & legal, advisory and accountancy.

At BDO, you are not just a number. Your wellbeing and development are just as important to us as the personal, hands-on advice and pragmatic solutions we offer our clients. Because as you grow, so do we and so do our clients. That is why our slogan is 'Let's Grow Together'!

We're looking ASAP for a junior in the Management Consulting team for the Telecom & Utilities sector in our Zaventem office.

What will you be doing?

A day in the life

You start your day at the client’s office in the Telecom or Utilities sector, where you’ll spend most of your time. After greeting your temporary colleagues, you review your agenda and finalize the analysis you’ve been preparing. You help a teammate with an Excel issue, attend a meeting, and enjoy a lunch break. Later, you receive a reminder about the upcoming BDO Management Consulting team event.

During an afternoon workshop, you impress the client with your insights and make a mental note to call a partner about a new improvement opportunity. You drive home in your company car at a reasonable hour, still having time for sports, family dinner, and drinks with friends—sharing stories about your dynamic day.

Telecom & Utilities Sector

You will support companies in the Telecom and Utilities industries as they navigate digital transformation, regulatory changes, and sustainability challenges. Your projects may involve:

  • Process optimization and operational efficiency improvements
  • Customer experience enhancement through digital tools
  • Regulatory compliance and risk management
  • Sustainability strategy and energy transition initiatives

As a consultant, you analyze business processes, identify improvement opportunities, and propose actionable solutions aligned with the client’s strategic goals. You facilitate workshops to gather operational and functional requirements, conduct impact analyses, and define key assumptions and dependencies.

Once solutions are agreed upon, you take ownership of implementation, coordinating across teams and working closely with project or program managers.

Whether you’re working on smart grid innovation, fiber rollout, or customer service transformation, your contribution will help shape the future of essential services.

At BDO, we believe in focus and expertise. That’s why, in this role, you’ll exclusively work on projects within the Telecom and Utilities sector—allowing you to truly immerse yourself, build deep industry knowledge, and make a lasting impact where it matters most.

What do you bring to the table?

  • Your personal motto is “learning by doing
