To support the growth of our MarCom Department, we are looking for an Audiovisual Specialist. Together with the other MarCom ninjas, you are jointly responsible for creating a significant impact on the brand image and corporate communication.

What will you be doing?

As an Audiovisual Specialist, you will support BDO in the production of visual and audiovisual material, both in the MarCom studio in Zaventem and on location, where you will also independently handle streaming, recording, and basic post-production (editing). 

 

  • Managing film studio techniques (audio and studio lighting set-up, green screen) during live streaming sessions, as well as during video/photo shoots in the studio and on location
  • Making audio, video, and photo recordings during internal and external activities organized by BDO (at various locations in Belgium)
  • Setting up and using audio and video equipment (audio, lighting, green screens, etc.) during (live) events such as team building, networking events, etc.
  • Implementing Live Video solutions: realizing webinars and video streaming sessions (debate, round table discussion, business and networking meetings) at a professional level.
  • Creating various video formats (such as after movies, promotional videos, video interviews, or testimonials) and ensuring quality control of the final products.
  • Managing audiovisual equipment (audio, video) and ensuring effective archiving and storage of these resources.
  • Managing audiovisual archives, backup storage, and the current video library.
  • Supporting the development of a communication and employer branding strategy, both in the short and long term.
  • Working closely with the MarCom department in executing the communication strategy.

What do you bring to the table?

  • Relevant studies in audiovisual communication or multimedia.
  • Affinity with the workflow of audiovisual production and live stream technologies.
  • Affinity with storytelling and corporate branding.
  • Strong organizational skills, discipline, and reliability.
  • Eye for detail, creativity, strong interpersonal skills, able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Languages: Dutch or French (with good command of the other national language) + English
  • Knowledge of Adobe After Effects and InDesign is not required but a plus.
  • Driving license B, mobility throughout Belgium.
  • Ability to provide a (video) portfolio.
