What will you be doing?

As a Junior Risk consultant, you will be working on a wide variety of projects and clients. Consultants generally starts their career by working on Internal Audit and Internal control assignments and will be given the opportunity to move towards more complex mission in Risk Management & Forensic.

 

As a Junior consultants, you will be asked to assist your team members on several assignments during which you be developing the following skills :

  • Conducting internal audits (Financial/ IT/ Operational/…) at client sites, examining key business processes, going beyond financial statements to address the broader spectrum of risks that may impact organizational success.
  • Identifying and evaluating vulnerabilities within clients’ control environments or processes through interviews, document analysis, and process assessments.
  • Gaining a comprehensive understanding of clients’ risk landscapes, assessing the maturity of their internal controls and processes, and making actionable recommendations for improvement.
  • Providing assurance on fundamental internal controls, detecting and preventing fraud, and ensuring compliance with organizational policies, corporate governance codes, regulations, and legislation.
  • Collaborating with clients to develop and enhance risk management frameworks and strategies that align with their organizational objectives.
  • Assisting in the performance of Forensic Investigations.

As part of your learning process, your presence will be expected (at client sites or at the office) at least 4 days a week during the first couple of months. You will be  involved on both the commercial and operational aspects of projects you will be assigned, where you will be able to rely on your colleagues for guidance and feedback. Clear and concise reporting is essential, as you will often manage multiple projects simultaneously. You thrive under deadlines and pressure, balancing your workload effectively while also managing quieter periods.

  • You take the initiative to propose new ideas and approaches while remaining open to your colleagues' perspectives. Keeping your team informed about project progress is a priority for you, as you value collaboration and teamwork.
  • Your analytical mindset and meticulous attention to detail enable you to critically assess your work and that of others objectively.
  • You manage stress effectively, adept at setting priorities and meeting deadlines without compromising quality.
  • You are comfortable presenting your analysis and results towards clients and top Management.
  • You are committed on delivering high quality work to your management and clients.
  • You are fluent in both French and English. Dutch is a plus but not a requirement.
  • You hold a master degree.
  • Your academic journey has given you the opportunity to understand fundamental economic principles. Specialization in Risk & Audit is a plus. 
  • You have a willingness to expend your expertise/skills through self-study certifications (CIA, ISO,…).
