Our Deal & Valuation Advisory department provides a range of strategic advisory services to clients, focusing on Transaction Services, Valuation of Companies, Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) mandates, Debt Advisory, Funding, and Financial Modelling. We deliver expert-driven insights and tailor our advice to support critical business decisions. To further enhance our department’s success and meet growing demand, we are looking for a (Junior) Manager Transaction Services, based in either Ghent or Antwerp.

What will you be doing?

  • Financial Analysis: Analyze financial statements, operational data, and business plans, identifying adjustments in EBITDA, net working capital, and net financial debt for accurate transaction valuations.
  • Due Diligence Leadership: Lead buy-side and sell-side due diligence by coordinating sessions with target company management to gather crucial insights.
  • Reporting & Insights: Prepare due diligence reports, including financial analyses, charts, and conclusions to guide client decisions.
  • Team Coaching: Mentor junior team members, ensuring high-quality project delivery and professional growth.
  • Cross-functional Coordination: Work with tax, legal, and other teams to provide comprehensive due diligence services.
  • Client Engagement: Assist in preparing proposals for new or existing clients to drive business growth.
  • Business Development: Contribute to identifying new opportunities, building client relationships, and supporting business development efforts.

What do you bring to the table?

  • Master's degree in Finance, Business Economics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience preferably within a consulting or professional services firm.
  • Excellent command of Dutch and English. Knowledge of German and/or French is an asset.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel, with a deep understanding of its application in corporate finance.
  • Experience with Power Query and Power Pivot is a plus for enhancing data analytics efficiency.
  • Good knowledge of PowerPoint for creating professional, insightful reports.
  • Team player with a sense of responsibility and a "can-do" mindset, eager to continuously learn and grow.
