What will you be doing?

As a Manager Daily Banking at BDO, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of banking operations. You'll have the opportunity to lead transformative projects and drive innovation while ensuring the highest standards of customer service. Your expertise will be instrumental in optimizing back-office operations, streamlining customer onboarding experiences, and implementing cutting-edge technologies to stay ahead of the curve.

 

Some of the exciting responsibilities you'll undertake include:

  • Optimizing back-office operations: Streamlining processes to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Enhancing customer onboarding journeys: Incorporating AML & ESG criteria to ensure seamless onboarding experiences.
  • Streamlining new product acquisition processes: Simplifying account opening and card creation procedures.
  • Improving customer support processes: Enhancing support services to meet evolving customer needs.
  • Driving digital transformation: Leveraging new technologies for eID verification, digital identity wallets, and authentication.
  • Leading projects and change management activities: Guiding successful transformations and mentoring junior consultants.
  • Proactively seeking new clients and projects: Collaborating with clients and participating in the sales process to expand our footprint in the market.

What do you bring to the table?

We're seeking candidates who:

  • Have 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in banking, consulting, or a related industry.
  • Possess strong knowledge and experience in customer servicing, back-office operations, and customer on & offboarding.
  • Have experience with preparing & implementing near- & offshoring strategies.
  • Demonstrate expertise in electronic identification & authentication (e.g., ItsMe, eIDAS).
  • Understand the impact of ESG on customer relations and can conduct gap analyses for regulatory compliance.
  • Excel in analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Exhibit strong leadership and project management capabilities.
  • Are fluent in Dutch or French as a native language, with very good proficiency in the other and fluency in English.
  • Have experience in opening conversations with clients on new project opportunities and coordinating large RFPs.
  • Can support and guide less experienced colleagues during projects.
