What will you be doing?

As a Payments Transformation Manager at BDO, you'll play a critical role in guiding financial institutions through the complexities of digital transformation. Leveraging your expertise in open banking and regulatory frameworks, you'll develop innovative strategies to prepare banks for the future of payments. From conducting gap analysis to leading change management activities, you'll drive tangible results and make a lasting impact in the industry.

  • Conduct gap analysis and prepare financial institutions for PSD3 compliance.
  • Provide expertise in open banking and regulatory frameworks like PSD2 and FIDA.
  • Develop innovative strategies to transition financial institutions to a digital, cashless future.
  • Stay ahead of trends in instant payments and emerging payment methods like EPI.
  • Lead projects and change management activities to drive successful transformations.
  • Mentor junior consultants and collaborate with clients to tackle complex challenges.

This role is perfect for you if you're a seasoned professional with a passion for payments innovation and a track record of success in banking or consulting. Bring your expertise in PSD2, PSD3, and open banking, along with strong analytical and communication skills, to drive meaningful change at BDO.

  • 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in banking, consulting, or related industry.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in PSD2, PSD3, and open banking.
  • Experience conducting gap analysis and preparing banks for regulatory compliance.
  • Deep understanding of FIDA regulation and its impact on financial institutions.
  • Experience with emerging payment trends and technologies.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with clients and internal teams.
  • Strong leadership and project management skills.
  • Dutch or French as your native language and very good proficiency in the other and fluency in English.
