This job in a nutshell

To lace your academic course with practical experience, BDO offers you the opportunity to become part of our professional digital tribes via an internship. This first practical experience will allow you to get to know the working environment and BDO better. Seize this unique learning experience and who knows, a first step towards a professional career within BDO might follow!

You may end up in one of our various Digital Tribes:

  • Enterprise Solutions: We implement and optimise off-the-shelf software solutions for financial processes, ERP, financial planning and budgets as well as for Project & Portfolio Management (PPM) and management of the production chain and fleet.
  • Technologies: The Technologies department takes care of translating the clients' wishes into a well thought-out and high-performance ICT solution that we help realise in the next step or help clients discover new possibilities for improving their operations.
  • Digital Advisory: The Digital Advisory department assists the client and relieves the client throughout the entire digital transformation process.

What will you be doing?

Thanks to our pragmatic approach, we provide our clients with an efficient solution, complete from analysis to implementation. In this way, we grow into an effective and reliable partner for our customers.
As a trainee, you will be fully integrated into one of our teams. Our teams consist of very driven, enthusiastic, inquisitive people with a good mix of knowledge/experience with the potential for employee growth. With our broad portfolio of services, we can offer complete solutions to our customers while also offering our employees opportunities for further development in technical or human and organisational aspects of customer relations.

What do you bring to the table?

  • You are in your final or penultimate year of a bachelor or master degree (e.g. civil engineer, industrial engineer, commercial engineer, TEW, computer science, etc.).
  • You have strong analytical and abstract thinking skills. You are communicative, flexible and results-oriented and aware of the added value of working in a team and of the intense cooperation with customers, end users and suppliers to achieve maximum results. You can work independently and are sufficiently stress-resistant to also find solutions in crisis situations.
  • You want to help build a growing and innovative department.
  • You are curious to get to know different sectors and customers.
  • You are native Dutch and/or French with excellent knowledge of the other language.

What do we bring to the table?

  • Internship at a large company with many opportunities for you to grow and learn.
  • Internship in a smaller team at a specific office or in a specific department, where everyone can be themselves.
  • Take on increasing amounts of responsibility as the rest of your team stands by, ready to support you.
  • Option to work at one of our many Belgian BDO offices or at a client site.
  • You can expect to receive guidance on your thesis and also rely on more experienced colleagues to share their knowledge.
  • Internship duration: minimum of 1 month, at least 4 days a week.
