Part of the advisory department of BDO, we pursue, with the Strategy & Transformation's Team the mission to help our clients to work more (cost) efficiently, customer focused, people driven and result oriented. We guide and support our clients to succeed in their journey from the strategy definition to its implementation and to seek for continuous improvement via multidisciplinary skills, adapted approaches and professional tools.

Our team is offering consulting and training services in 4 domains:

• Strategy Services : Defining a future-proof strategy and implementing it
• Customer Excellence : Understanding your customer and delivering great experiences.
• Operational Excellence : Streamlining processes and improving productivity
• Organization & People Transformation : Designing a "fit for purpose" organization and guiding your people through the change

What are we looking for ?

To pursue our growth, we are looking for new colleagues to join us and strengthen the team as senior consultant for the Financial Institutions practice

You would play a part in a large variety of services such as

• Optimizing processes and organizational structure
• Helping the transformation into a new Agile way of working
• Participating in the definition of a strategic plan
• Coaching/training managers & team leaders in their improvement journey
• Managing complex projects, programs and/or portfolios

Financial Institutions (Banks, Insurance Companies, Payment Institutions, etc.)

You will support financial institutions in their transformation journey, in their efforts to adapt themselves to the changing environment, which involves different domains such as Operations in Banking & Insurance, Customer & Commercial Services and Finance Transformation.

As a consultant, you analyze business processes, spot areas for improvements and propose solutions which are in line with your client’s strategic goals. Together with subject matter experts from the industry, you facilitate workshops to gather both business as functional requirements, perform profound impact analysis and define key assumptions and dependencies, which you all assemble in a well-structured summary.

As soon as you’ve consulted the relevant stakeholders and there’s consensus on the next steps ahead, you take the initiative to push the solution forward by coordinating and supporting the activities across multiple teams, working closely with the respective project/program manager.

The context of initiatives in which you’ll operate depends on both the client needs as your area of expertise, which includes but not limited to Daily Banking, Lending, Invest and Life or Non-Life Insurance.

This job is definitely for you if you ...

• Have a master's degree in Economics, Management or a similar domain;
• Have between 2 and 5 years of experience as a consultant and/or in the financial sector. Knowledge of banking and/or insurance products and processes are considered as an asset;
• Have a Native level in Dutch and French and very good knowledge of the other language, complemented with a profound knowledge of business English
• Eager to learn and to move things forward, you are always looking for new challenges
• Have the ambition to have a real impact on the organizations you work with
• Able to identify relevant stakeholders and interact with them accordingly
• Work autonomously while being a strong team player

If you have certifications and/or practical experience in PMI, Prince 2, Lean, Agile (SAFe, Scrum), ADKAR/Prosci and ITIL, analytics (PowerBI, Tableau...) this will certainly be a bonus in your application!
