At our Antwerp office, we’re looking for an experienced Manager in Corporate Tax to join our team, bringing strategic vision, leadership, and a focus on business development and growth.

What will you be doing?

As a Manager in Corporate Tax, you’ll play a pivotal role in expanding BDO’s influence and client portfolio, acting not only as the primary advisor for key clients but also as a strategist and business developer. Your responsibilities include:

  • Client & Portfolio Leadership: You’ll serve as the first point of contact for clients, managing their accounts with a strategic lens, ensuring exceptional service, and maintaining full responsibility for their satisfaction and success.
  • Strategic Business Development: Identify and capture new market opportunities, building and growing relationships that align with BDO’s vision and growth goals. Your work will actively shape the future of our corporate tax practice.
  • Growth of Client Relationships: Beyond managing existing accounts, you’ll strategically deepen relationships and create long-term value by introducing clients to BDO’s broader suite of advisory services, demonstrating a proactive and consultative approach.
  • Team Leadership and Development: Take charge of recruitment, professional development, and performance evaluations within your team, cultivating a high-performance culture. Lead by example, inspiring your team to reach their potential.
  • Thought Leadership: Deliver seminars, workshops, and client training sessions to position BDO as a thought leader in corporate tax, showcasing BDO’s industry insights and commitment to knowledge-sharing.

What do you bring to the table?

We’re seeking an experienced professional with:

  • A master’s degree in Law, Economics, or a related field, ideally with additional taxation training.
  • At least six years of experience in corporate tax, with demonstrated expertise in compliance and advisory.
  • A strong foundation in business development with the ability to identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities, coupled with a strategic, client-first mindset.
  • A track record of delivering on strategic objectives and experience in team leadership, talent development, and creating high-impact client relationships.
  • A collaborative, team-oriented approach with the ability to inspire others and prioritize collective success.
  • Language skills in Dutch and English, with a working proficiency in French.
