What will you be doing?

Over the years, your role at BDO will change and your responsibilities and challenges increase. To this end, you will receive internal and external training opportunities as required, as well as day-to-day support from the other members of your audit team. You will become increasingly confident in your role as entrepreneurs’ advisor, coach and confidant. 

Your duties include: 

  • Helping to perform audits of IT environments of BDO clients 

  • Participate in studies to achieve an independent service audit report (ISAE3402) ISAE 3402 reports ("Third Party Assurance" (TPA) reports) 

  • Assessing financial and logistics software used by clients

  • Supporting auditors in checking automated information systems

  • Carrying out data analyses and process mining in support of financial audits

  • Provide support in conducting financial audits 

What do you bring to the table?

  • You will graduate this year with a Master’s degree (for example, in Applied Economics, Management, Commercial Engineering or Computer Science), or have one or two years of relevant experience

  • You either have an economics background with a strong interest in IT applications and data analysis OR a background in IT supplemented by additional economics training

  • You have a strong motivation and curiosity, a service-oriented and enthusiastic personality and you are a team player

  • (Written and spoken) proficiency in either Dutch or French and in English.

  • Knowledge of current IT applications is desirable

  • You have an interest in the latest generation of software and its use of artificial intelligence, process mining and dashboarding
