As a BDO accountancy expert, you are, on the one hand, a central point of contact that watches over client interests and, on the other hand, the person responsible for supervising a professional team.

To strengthen our team, we are currently looking for a Manager for our new Brussels Center office.

What will you be doing?

As Manager Accountancy, you will actively manage your client portfolio. You will maintain client relations on a regular and constructive basis and in this way develop a regional network. You will increase the company's brand awareness by actively participating in various seminars, colloquia, conferences and working groups as well as by meticulously researching and later publishing articles.

As part of your job, you will oversee the evolution of the business unit as well as the team's cooperation. In addition, you will also supervise the proper functioning of the operational tasks, while ensuring quality for the customer. Through your monitoring and interventions, you will motivate and support the employees so that an optimal exchange of information between the different colleagues can be guaranteed. In your role as coach, you will ensure that all members of your team can grow.

What do you bring to the table?

  • You have a bachelor's or master's degree with a specialisation in Finance, Accountancy or Commercial Sciences
  • You have at least 5 years' experience in a similar position or environment
  • You are a member of the IAB
  • You know the region and have the skills to develop a network of contacts here in the short term
  • Extroverted by nature, you are able to cooperate with clients while listening to them
  • You have strong accountancy skills
  • You can express yourself fluently in French and English
  • You are naturally calm, organised and possess strong analytical and logical thinking skills
