Join our dynamic team in La Hulpe as a Senior Risk consultant.

What will you be doing?

As a Senior Risk Consultant, you will collaborate with experienced colleagues on various risk-related projects, including Internal Control, Risk Governance, Risk Assessments and Internal Audits.

 

Your key responsibilities will include:

 

  • Gaining insight into a client's context and risk landscape, identifying their strategic and/or operational risks.
  • Assessing in clients' control environment or processes through interviews, workshops and document analysis.
  • Propose and draft with the client actions that will help them reaching a risk level in line with their risk appetite.
  • Perform Internal audits following a risk-based approach and provide added value advices to our clients.
  • Managing multiple projects simultaneously, while ensuring transparent reporting and meeting deadlines.
  • Be a guide, a counsellor and a sounding board for the junior levels to overperform on projects.
  • Demonstrate initiatives & entrepreneurship at project level & product development.
  • Provide strategic insights to the clients based on strategic risks assessments exercises (ERM).

What do you bring to the table?

  • You are passionate about helping organisation by improving their decision-making process including the risk components in their decisions.
  • You like to deep dive into the contextual elements to understand what can jeopardize the reach of organisational objectives.
  • You take the initiative to introduce new ideas while remaining open to your colleagues' perspectives.
  • You have strong analytical and facilitation skills, allowing you to guide our clients during their “risk journey”.
  • You hold a master's degree from a business school or a university degree in social sciences with a passion for business matters or a related field. You have 2 to 5 years of relevant work experience.
  • You are familiar with risk management standards (COSO, ISO 31000, Basel III for the financial sector), internal audit standards (CIA) and possess or are willing to obtain risk/internal audit certifications.
  • You are a native French speaker and fluent in English. A good knowledge of Dutch will be a strong asset.
  • You take ownership of your deliverables and do not hesitate to make the extra-mile when needed.
  • You are willing to travel worldwide for your projects and clients.
