This job in a nutshell

To join our Recruitment team, we are looking for an enthusiastic, driven and experienced recruiter.


The BDO recruitment team recruits over 200 new colleagues a year, considering both recent graduates and experienced candidates. You will be one of a team of five entrepreneurial, highly motivated recruiters. You will also be part of our HR team, which has 15 members altogether.

What will you be doing?

Your job includes the following duties:



  • Full recruitment process for experienced candidates to work at our various business practices;

  • Close, regular contact with internal customers;

  • Weekly monitoring of recruitment processes and new vacancies;

  • Pro-active searching of LinkedIn and other databases;

  • Additional efforts to attract more talented candidates (new channels) and critical evaluation of existing channels;

  • Participation in events and job fairs in support of campus recruitment, etc.;

  • Active participation in onboarding of new employees.


You will be based mainly at our head office in Zaventem, but also pay frequent visits to other regional offices in response to internal customers’ needs.

What do you bring to the table?


  • You can rely on extensive recruiting experience;

  • You have a good knowledge of digital and social media and various recruitment channels, with experience in active searches for candidates;

  • Affinity with the world of financial services is an asset;

  • You are fluent in Dutch, French and English, with strong written and spoken communication skills;

  • You are a team player, well-organised and proactive;

  • You are strongly motivated with a service-oriented and enthusiastic personality;
