This job in a nutshell

BDO Advisory (Digital) provides expert advice at the interface between business and ICT. Thanks to a reasoned and pragmatic approach, we deliver tangible results and thus grow into an effective and reliable partner of our clients.

To strengthen the Enterprise Solutions team, we are looking for an additional experienced Netsuite Implementation Consultant.

Join the BDO family, a worldwide consulting firm where you can bring your own personality to your job! We help organisations grow sustainably with our expertise in audit & assurance, tax & legal, advisory and accountancy.

At BDO, you are not just a number. Your wellbeing and development are just as important to us as the personal, hands-on advice and pragmatic solutions we offer our clients. Because as you grow, so do we and so do our clients. That is why our slogan is 'Let's Grow Together'!

What will you be doing?

As a Software Implementation Consultant, you will analyse customer issues and be responsible for configuring and optimising business-supporting software tools. The functional areas in which we are currently active are:

  • ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning, e.g. Oracle NetSuite)

  • EPM (Enterprise Performance Management, e.g. Oracle EPM/NSPB/PBCS)

  • PPM (Project Portfolio Management, e.g. Clarity PPM, ServiceNow & Keyedin Projects)

  • Globis (= ERP for logistics and transport)

With full conviction, you dive into a tool, e.g. Oracle NetSuite, with the aim of making your customer's operations as efficient and effective as possible;

  • functional and technical configuration of customer-specific requirements,

  • building and optimising automation processes within the various tools,

  • building reports within the tools,

  • data migration,

  • user Acceptance Testing, writing out test scenarios,

  • training of super/admin users at the customer's site (e.g. giving demos).

What do you bring to the table?

  • You hold a master's degree and several years of experience in IT implementation (at least 3 years). If this is a degree in which you have gained solid concepts of financial/business accounting (e.g. commercial engineering), that is definitely a plus.

  • In terms of software implementation, your background may be broad, the most important thing is that you have experience in implementing a software package: e.g. Oracle NetSuite, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, AFAS,...

  • Knowledge of/experience in/feeling for accounting, planning and budgeting is important.

  • You obviously have an interest in software tools and development, databases, queries, scripting, reporting.

  • You have a sharp analytical mind; you can approach a problem from different angles and you can make quick decisions. However, you are not an IT analyst "pur sang", because you like to dive into implementation.

  • You are customer-oriented and show the necessary empathy, negotiation skills and flexibility.

  • You are communicative, results-oriented and aware of the added value of working in a team to achieve maximum results.

  • You can work independently and you have already learned how to manage stress in your environment and in yourself, to also find solutions in possible crisis situations.

  • Your first language is Dutch or French (knowledge of the other language is a plus), closely followed by your command of English.

What do we bring to the table?

  • Culture: you will join a family of experts who encourage respect, diversity and teamwork. You work in an open culture, so feel free to speak to anyone, at any level

  • Development: you decide the direction of your career, and we support you where necessary. Our BDO Academy provides a whole range of training courses to help.

  • Impact: from day 1 you will be given responsibility, with support from your team.

  • Network: you can work on different projects and clients, across business practices.

  • Flexibility: you choose where you work with flexible working hours.

  • Wellbeing: your physical and mental health is important to us.

  • Salary: you receive a competitive salary package with interesting benefits.

  • Sustainability: you work within a company with an integrated sustainability policy.

Were you nodding to yourself enthusiastically as you read through the job description? Then be sure to send us your CV right away! May we soon welcome you as a new colleague!
