What will you be doing?

After an orientation and training period, you will join a team that provides confidential advice to the managing director and financial management on aspects of their policies relating to taxation.
Your duties include a combination of advising on and implementing company structures and the associated compliance tasks, with a strong focus on larger and internationally active companies. You will work in multidisciplinary teams together with specialists in areas such as indirect taxes, transfer pricing, human capital, etc., both in Belgium and within our international network.


Your job includes the following duties:



  • You contribute to the processing of important files. You can also call on our organisation’s (international) specialists in taxation and law to help you with this.

  • You supervise and train new employees and are responsible for reviewing the files they prepare;

  • Additionally, you are expected to work closely with colleagues from other business lines as needed;

  • You report directly to the Tax & Legal Partners and Managers and contribute to the Transfer Pricing department’s development.


As a BDO tax consultant, you keep close track of all the latest tax news to be able to do your work efficiently. Thanks to our BDO Academy, you can continue developing your professional knowledge, supplemented by external training opportunities.

What do you bring to the table?

Your experience and educational background



  • Master of Law or Economics with additional tax training or equivalent experience;

  • At least three years of relevant professional consulting experience;

  • Relevant knowledge of national/international corporate tax. Prepared to qualify as a Certified Tax Adviser in the short term;

  • Good interpersonal and communication skills, both written and spoken. Written and spoken proficiency in Dutch, French and English is an asset.
