What will you be doing?

As a Senior Consultant you will be involved in:



  • Analysis of tax treatment of new financial products

  • Advising clients on new financial tax or modifications of existing financial taxes

  • Helping investment funds to comply with Belgian tax rules (DBI BEVEK/SICAV RDT  Belgian TIS computation)

  • Providing tax reporting to foreign banks regarding their Belgian clients;

  • Tax ruling on private equity schemes

  • Restructuring of Belgian investment funds

  • Tax alerts for the FSI sector


You also will be responsible for:



  • Research and prepare advisory work for our clients in your field of expertise, being income tax (personal tax and/or corporate tax) and indirect taxes (Tax on Stock Exchange Transactions, Tax on Securities Accounts, Tax on insurance premium);

  • Advising Belgian and foreign financial institutions on a wide range of inbound and outbound tax topics related to the FSI;

  • Help our clients manage their tax compliance obligations such as among other, the preparation of tax returns or the reply to tax inquiries regarding automatic exchange of tax information systems (CRS, FATCA);

  • Support more senior FSI tax specialists at client meetings and industry forums.

What do you bring to the table?


  • Master in Law or Economics, with a Postmaster in Tax

  • Experienced in income tax (personal tax and/or corporate tax) as well as in indirect tax (Tax on Stock Exchange Transactions, Tax on Securities Accounts, Tax on insurance premium) with a special focus on financial institutions (custodian banks, private banks, fund administrators, investment management companies, insurance companies)

  • Over two years of previous work experience as advisor for the banking, insurance or consulting sector

  • Team player, eager to be part of a fast growing business and you will be the reference person for the juniors

  • You have an analytical mind, you are accurate and you can provide relevant analysis and advice

  • Excellent knowledge of Dutch with advanced working knowledge of English and French
